comfortable stay but minor improvements needed
The private onsen provided a serene escape from the daily hustle. The laundry facilities were a great convenience, especially after our day adventures.
The breakfast was enjoyable but could offer more variety.

The bar and onsen closing too early!!! A reservation system for the onsen would streamline the experience during peak times instead of the frustrating first-come, first-served chaos!!!

I really enjoyed how close everything was, with the Hida Takayama Traditional Private Houses and the Takayama City Archives Museum just a short walk away, making it easy to explore this beautiful city without any hassle. plus, the breakfast was fantastic and absolutely worth the money, keeping me fueled for my adventures throughout the day.

This place was amazing! I loved the rooftop bar with all-you-can-drink options and the relaxing private onsen. Just a tiny hiccup with some noisy guests in the morning, but it didn't ruin my trip at all! 😊

The spacious rooms and the rooftop onsen were standout features during my stay. Breakfast was outstanding, with delicious grilled vegetables and a variety that catered to all tastes. While the location offered easy access to main attractions, the Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent, and some amenities felt dated compared to the modern interior. Despite this, the friendly staff and clean facilities made for a pleasant experience.

Wat Hotel offered a comfortable stay with clean and spacious rooms. The separate WC from the shower and sink was a nice touch. I loved the courtesy drink on the first night. it felt like a warm welcome. Breakfast provided a lot of options, though it got quite crowded with large groups, making it challenging to find a good place to sit. The location is fantastic, just a 10-15 minute walk to the old town. The rooftop onsen was a bonus, although the breakfast area was noisy and hectic. We sometimes struggled with parking, losing our spot on two occasions, which was frustrating. Overall, the staff was friendly and provided a helpful service, enhancing my experience. I would definitely return, but I would hope for improvements in breakfast organization and parking management.

The stay was pleasant overall with spacious accommodations perfect for a family. The hotel's onsen was a highlight, providing a great way to unwind after a day of exploring the nearby attractions. While the breakfast area got quite busy due to tour groups, the variety offered in the morning was appreciated, even if we decided to skip it on the first day. We enjoyed the proximity to a supermarket and found it convenient for our young children, even though there was some walking involved to reach the main tourist spots.

Awesome stay with comfy rooms
Spent a night here and it was great! The private onsens were a highlight, really loved the relaxing vibe. The staff was super friendly and offered us tea and treats at check-in, nice touch! Breakfast buffet was totally worth it. Only thing is, the public onsen can get a bit crowded.
